Your challenge

As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for the efficient delivery and high-quality execution of projects for innovative tech start-ups, scale-ups and mid-sized organizations. You advise our clients on technical and architectural matters, coach the Studio Fledge development team, and remain actively involved in project delivery yourself.

You are also part of Unikoo’s Technology & AI management team, where you contribute to the strategic direction and innovation of both Studio Fledge and Unikoo.

Because of the wide variety of projects for different clients, you will work with a broad range of technologies and frameworks. This role gives you the opportunity to fully leverage your knowledge and experience while continuing to grow yourself.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Designing, building and safeguarding the full technical foundation of our solutions: robust (mobile and) web applications built on our core tech stack (Node.js, Python, React) with AWS as the foundation, with a strong focus on the serverless stack and AgentCore.
Collaborating on the definition and optimization of technical architectures that ensure scalability, security and reliability across the full application stack. You apply principles such as event-driven design, API-first development, microservices architecture and serverless infrastructure, always tailored to client needs and the chosen tech stack.
Taking the lead in the design and implementation of custom AI solutions for clients: agent architectures built with LangGraph and LangChain, within the broader GenAI and agentic AI ecosystem. You work expertly with AI assistants, understand their pitfalls, and deliver high-quality agentic engineering.
Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality applications with a strong focus on security, performance and reliability.
Advising clients on technology choices and helping them identify the best solutions for their specific needs.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery.
Leading and managing the Studio Fledge development team, with a focus on team development, coaching and follow-up.
Contributing to the strategic direction of Studio Fledge and Unikoo as part of the Technology & AI management team.
Supporting team growth by actively participating in team-building and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The perfect match?

Convinced you are the right fit for this role? Our ideal Solution Architect brings the following skills and expertise:

A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record in solution and application architecture, and strong expertise in technologies such as Node.js, Python and React, as well as experience with CI/CD processes (e.g. GitHub Actions).
Experience leading and managing development teams, with the ability to coach colleagues and help them grow.
Experience with AI innovation and a strong understanding of how to shape AI-driven development processes or products.
Experience with predictive and generative AI, data engineering and machine learning is a strong plus.
A positive and constructive mindset, with a natural ability to guide others while remaining open to different perspectives.
Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge, enabling you to build high-quality, scalable products.
Passion, drive, and the mindset to continuously learn and innovate within a dedicated team.
